Caribbean Sky Necklace #1

This is the very first design that I made using Larimar, which is one of my favorite stones. I made one piece that was sold 5 years ago in the Dominican Republic, but I loved the design so much that I replicated it recently and only have one second piece available. It’s absolutely gorgeous, delicate, and the Swarovski crystals give the piece lots of sparkling and glamour.

Larimar is a unique semi-precious stone, which only can be found in The Dominican Republic. It comes in a wide range of different blue-white-green tones with irregular patterns.

It’s a variety of Pectolite, blue like the Caribbean sea and Sky. Despite its fiery volcanic origin, its unique and beautiful color inspires calm and freshness. It’s the only blue Pectolite that has been found anywhere in the world.

Length of the necklace is 19 inches, plus an additional 1 1/2 inch for the pendant.

Pink Collection: A very special Necklace to help the fight

In October last year we designed a very special necklace to honour the fight against Breast Cancer, the “Pink Necklace”. This October, we are offering it again.

It’s an extremely simple yet elegant necklace with a large bead of Mangano Calcite from Peru. This is a beautiful pink stone associated with forgiveness, unconditional love and with excellent healing energy. It is widely used for healing purposes and is sometimes also called the “Reiki Stone”.

The large navette shaped Mangano Calcite is threaded in a thin Sterling Silver chain and finished with only two light pink Swarovski Crystals and two small Sterling Silver round beads, which enhance the natural beauty of the stone. The closure is finished with another two Swarovski crystals and a small magnetic Sterling Silver clasp.

The price for each necklace is CA$ 45. This price includes the taxes. From this price, CA$ 5 will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

The necklace is available in 16 inches, 17 inches and 18 inches Sterling Silver chains.

Love for Garnet: Product of the Week June 27 – July 3, 2011

I just created this set two days ago, with the last three faceted garnet beads that I had. It’s absolutely gorgeous and delicate.

A pair of earrings and a pendant, all three pieces with a Garnet faceted Tear Drop bead hanging from a bunch of small round Garnet beads. All finished with Gold Filled. The price for the set includes the Gold Filled chain.

These Garnets are specifically called Rhodolite, which describes a rose-red form of Garnet that has a lighter tone and more purplish color than typical Garnet gemstones. Garnet is the birthstone for those born in January.

This is a beautiful bracelet in Sterling Silver and Amethyst. The Sterling Silver chain is completely hand made by attaching the rings. Beautiful Amethyst beads hang from them to make a fun dangling piece that feels really nice to wear.

Amethyst is the Birthstone for February and it is said that it attracts positive energy. The Amethyst used in this bracelet is from Brazil. Total length of the Bracelet is 7 inches and is finished with a Sterling silver toggle clasp.

Peridot is the Birthstone for August and is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color: olive green. It’s a beautiful stone and the color is perfect for Spring and Summer.

The Peridot beads are rectangular shaped, 5mm x 3mm. The bali beads are small, 2mm. Total length of the Necklace is 15 inches, plus 1 additional inch of sterling Silver chain extender to adjust size. Earrings are 3/4 inch long and are made with Sterling Silver French Wires.
